David D. Case, PE
President, Director of Operations

David provided the financial means and corporate know-how required for the incorporation of smplsolutions in 1998. With over 30 years of successful business ownership and management experience, David is responsible for leading smplsolutions, ensuring the company's overall fiscal integrity, and overseeing the company's long-term direction.

After graduating from Virginia Tech with a civil engineering degree and a minor in electrical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, David has worked for several corporations from the east coast to the west coast and has started and run three successful business ventures. His varied experience along with his Master's Degree in Engineering from the University of California Irvine, California registered civil engineering license, and 2 California contractor licenses makes David invaluable to the company's consistent growth and attention to detail.

David is also responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company including the distribution & allocation of resources, and the organization & implementation of the company's steadily increasing installation, maintenance & service contracts. This responsibility also includes his overseeing each project, making sure that quality controls are in place and that the customer's expectations have not only been met, but have been exceeded.

Dave Thomas
Director of Sales

Dave brings over 25 years experience in telecommunications to the team at smplsolutions, having begun his telecom career in 1983. In the late 80's and 90's Dave owned his own telecom company in northern California. After selling his business to one of the largest Toshiba dealers in the state, Dave went on to be a key figure in upper management at Staples Communications (formerly Williams Communications). Besides business ownership, his depth of corporate experience also includes business administration, consulting and sales training.

Today, Dave heads up the smplsolutions sales team providing technical & sales engineering support, project management, training, and the development of overall sales processes. Dave has helped to design the sales program for the company and is by far one of the most knowledgeable persons on staff at smplsolutions.

Sharron Hanson
Director of Human Resources

Sharron brings a wealth of knowledge to smplsolutions. Her 25 plus year career at some of the largest corporations in the US and California, allowed her to learn from some of the top people in corporate industry. Originally a key production analyst at Mobil and Texaco oil companies, Sharron went on to work for another national oil company, BreitBurn Energy Company of Los Angeles. It is from BreitBurn that Sharron came to work for smplsolutions in 2002.
